LEISURE

The poem "Leisure" is a wonderful poem written by a Welsh poet, W.H. Davies. The word leisure means free time. The poet advises us to look at the beauty of nature and enjoy them. We don't have time to see the cows and sheep grazing in the meadows.  The poet says to look at the squirrels which are hiding the nuts under the grass. The beauties of nature are compared to a beautiful dancing girl. The beauties of nature dance when trees swing in the breeze, waves in the ocean, birds fly in the sky. We don't have time to admire them. The poet says that we live a poor life because we don't enjoy the beauty of nature. We are busy only in earning and spending them. Our lives are full of sorrows that we don't have time to enjoy the nature of the world.
